Sara’s Crawling! Well, Sort of. :-)

Grandma came over tonight while Robert went to Quartet practice at church. We took a long walk with the kids and then let them play outside when we got back. We put Sara on a blanket and she saw a toy she wanted. She has been getting on all 4′s and rocking for awhile now, but tonight she was sort of ‘inch worming’. She would get on all 4′s and go forward, get on her belly then get on all fours and go forward again until she got where she was going. I think she’ll be crawling regularly very well within a week. I can’t believe she’s doing this already. She really wants to get up and run with the boys!

Second Tooth, Potty Training and More….

Sara had another tooth break through a few days ago (about 3 days after the first). She’s still not sitting up but is trying to crawl STILL. She gets up on all 4′s and rocks and rocks like she’s going to rock her way there. When she figures out to put one hand in front of the other, she’s going to be on the go.

So far, no one is sick anymore. That’s a nice change. Nathaniel is still doing great without diapers. He’s not even wearing them at night and has not had a night accident (or really any accident) yet. I’m so proud of him and so happy to have one less diaper to change.

Yesterday – “Another Day, Another illness”

Yesterday at around 4:30 AM Nathaniel woke up throwing up. Oh Fun! I knew it was coming though. One can’t get sick without the other getting sick. Where would the fun be in that? By dinner time he was his same old self though. It amazes me how quickly kids bounce back from being sick. I’d still be whining about not feeling well. :-)

Even through all of that, he did very well with going to the bathroom in the potty. He even appears to be night trained already. Two nights in a row now and he’s not had an accident all night. I’m so proud of him. I kind of figured that when he was ready to potty train it wouldn’t be very hard. For some reason I still wasn’t looking forward to it though. A friend asked me if I was sad that he was potty trained (he’s growing up). I easily said, “NO WAY!”.
