He actually went to the bathroom in the little potty. He did both poo and pee. YAY! Maybe he will be potty trained much sooner than Nathaniel was. We’ll see. Way to go Jonathan!
What a big day for Sara! You can feel two new teeth popping through on top and on the way home from Salli’s she said “BA!” Not a big deal to many, but she hasn’t said any consonant sounds until today! This morning while she was in her crib and I was selecting something for her to wear, she was playing peek-a-boo by putting her face on the mattress and then looking back up and me grinning.
She’s learning TOO many things TOO fast!
Last Wednesday, a group from ECI came out to go a thorough evaluation on Jonathan’s speech. We thought it would be a good idea since he couldn’t hear well for the first 10 months of his life. Of course, after the appointment was made, he had a language burst.
Anyway, he was ahead in some things and right on target for the rest. He has started speaking 3-4 word sentences and his vocabulary has really blossomed. He was late to start talking, but he caught up very well. I’m very thankful. They had him do puzzles, point to object in pictures and a lot of other things. He did some things I didn’t know he could do!
